What is Lip Blush?

Lip blush is a subtle lip tattoo that refines the shape and colour of your lips. The tattoo typically lasts around 2 years and will gradually fade over time due to natural skin exfoliation and sun exposure. Results are long lasting, but colour boosting sessions will keep the tattoo looking fresh.

Think ‘your lips, but better’.

Lip Blush (Full Colour/Sheer/Ombre)

Lip Blush can be tattooed in a number of styles:

High Definition, a more lipstick or lip stain effect

Sheer (as if you’re wearing a tinted gloss)

Ombre (a blended lip liner look, or a mix of 2 different colours fading from darker at the lip border to lighter in the centre) This style is suited to fuller lips.

The total cost is £345. £295 for your initial appt and £50 for your 6-8 week top up appt.

Please do not book if you have hyperpigmentation / darkening of the lips & please note that cold sore sufferers will need to take acyclovir anti-viral medication 5 days before and 5 days after the procedure – bought from any online pharmacy.

Lip Blush Healing Timeline

Allow up to 7 days for healing.

Day 1: Swelling, tenderness, high colour intensity

Day 2: Swelling sibsides, dryness starts, colour temporarily intensifies

Days 3-4: Scabbing and peeling, severe dryness

Day 5-6: More dryness possible, colour looks much lighter

Day 7: Peeling and dryness has subsided

Day 10- Week 2: Ghosting stage. Skin is regenerating and healing internally. Colour may look too light.

Week 2-4: Colour resurfaces

Week 4-6: Colour has settled in to its true shade

Week 6-8: Top up session

Lip Blush Colour Boost (12-18 months)

2 hours, 30 mins · £180

This service is for those who had their lip blush completed at Blend by G less than 18 months ago, but over 12 months.
